YC Olimpic is thrilled to announce the organization of the first National Championship in the rapidly growing Wing Foil class! JK Olimpic will be the main organizer of the National Championship, with the support of JK Pirat from Portorož.
The event will be organized for the Open Wing and Formula Wing classes, with the latter being an officially recognized racing class by World Sailing.
Date and Location (open to Izola, and Portorož!):
Since Wing Foil competition requires specific wind conditions (a minimum of 10 knots), we have set two potential event weekends:
· 1st Date: November 22 – 23
· Reserve Date: November 29 – 30
The final decision on the exact day, location (Izola, or Portorož), and start time will be announced on Thursday evening before the scheduled weekend. Stay tuned for our news!
In the Notice Board & Race Office section, you can find the official Notice of Race. All further announcements related to the national championship will also be published there.
With the national championship, we are opening a new chapter of Slovenian wing foil. Join us and help shape the future of wing foiling in Slovenia.
